Catheter Care
At My Homecare Haringey, we provide discreet, practical support for people living with a urinary catheter at home. Our carers can assist with catheter hygiene, drainage bags, personal care, mobility and everyday routines, helping clients feel comfortable and confident while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Catheter care is provided according to the individual care plan and guidance from district nurses, GPs or urology teams. Our carers pay close attention to changes such as leakage, poor drainage, discomfort or signs that may need clinical attention, and know when concerns should be passed on to the appropriate healthcare professional. We also take time to understand each person’s routine and aim to provide familiar, consistent carers, giving both clients and families greater reassurance at home.
