Live In Care
Live-in care is a great option for those who need continuous support but wish to remain in the comfort of their own home. Our live-in carer stays with you in your home, ensuring safety and comfort around the clock. They offer personal care, prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and provide companionship.
As we grow older, challenges such as frailty, illness, or recovery from injury may require full-time care. A live-in carer provides one-to-one support tailored to your needs, helping maintain your lifestyle in familiar surroundings. Being in your own home, with your garden and local community close by, can greatly enhance well-being for both you and your family.

Overnight Care
Nighttime can be a particularly vulnerable period for those in need of care. Our live-in carer stays in a nearby room to offer assistance if it’s needed during the night.
We also offer a dedicated overnight carer service for individuals who wake frequently, experience a decline in health, or require continuous support throughout the night, with the carer remaining awake and alert.
Local Managers
Starting Live In Care with us typically takes around 2 to 4 weeks. The first important step is a home visit from one of our managers, who will assess your needs in person. You’ll be assigned a primary carer, employed and managed by us. Each carer is trained, experienced, fully insured, and has passed police and background checks conducted by our team.
We know how important personality is, which is why we take care in matching you with a carer whose character complements the client’s needs and we organise Meet and Greet with the carer before the package commences. If your main carer takes leave for illness or holiday, we’ll provide a trusted replacement who will continue care seamlessly until the primary carer returns. We aim to keep the number of different carers to a minimum, all of whom will follow your tailored Care Support Plan. Each carer is also regularly supervised by their regional manager.
With a network of branches and regional managers across the UK, we have many skilled carers available. You’ll have a named manager who you can contact for support at any time. They will also make routine visits to ensure your care remains truly person-centred.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does accessing community support involve?
Accessing community support involves helping individuals stay connected with the world around them—whether that’s getting to social groups, day centres, places of worship, shops, or leisure activities. Our carers provide the practical help and companionship needed to take part in community life with confidence.
Can carers accompany clients to appointments?
Yes. Our carers can accompany clients to medical, dental, and hospital appointments, as well as other essential visits. They can help with getting ready, travelling to and from the appointment, and providing reassurance throughout.
Do you help with public transport?
Yes. We can support individuals in using public transport—helping them plan journeys, board safely, and travel with confidence. Where public transport isn’t suitable, we can help arrange alternative transport options.
Can support be arranged regularly?
Absolutely. Support can be arranged as a one-off, weekly, or on any regular schedule that suits the individual’s routine and preferences. Visit frequency and timings can be adjusted over time as needs change.
Is this service suitable for people with disabilities?
Yes. Our carers are trained to support people with a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities, providing tailored assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and safety at all times.
Can I combine community support with other services?
Yes. Accessing community support can be combined with personal care, companionship, meal provision, medication assistance, domestic help, respite care, live-in care, or assistance with travelling. We can create a wider care plan if more than one type of support is needed.
How do you create a support plan?
One of our managers carries out a free assessment to understand the individual’s needs, routines, and preferences. From this we develop a personalised support plan, which is reviewed regularly and adjusted as circumstances change.
How quickly can services start?
In most cases services can start within a few days of the initial assessment. For urgent situations we’ll do our best to arrange support as quickly as possible—simply get in touch with our Haringey team to discuss your needs.
